RescueHammer

A game is a hyper-casual game in which a building is on fire, people are trapped on the roof, and people are rescued by playing hammers.
This game is one of the things I developed in PLAYHARD during a 3 month intern period. The development helped each of the designer and artist in the middle of different projects and was mainly made by myself.
We were asked to play a 3D Hyper Casual game by the publisher at the time, and the rest of the members were already developing the game, so we asked me and another programmer who was then a trainee to create the game.
Therefore, at that time, a person working as a designer in another team member set a concept and implemented it.
At first, I wanted to hit the block with a hammer at the right timing to save the people trapped above and I showed it in a simple implementation.
So I decided to develop a more fun game while playing with a game prepared by another programmer, but the one I made was selected.
My next goal was to make the game look better. An art graphic artist drew a concept art and decided to implement it, but each block had a different color of shadow and light, so I couldn't make it by simply adjusting the material. So I used a custom shader to make the color of the building be shaded into a circle.
Initially the blocks were just flying away but I personally wanted improvements and wanted the game to look more fun and improved on 2.
The first thing is that the blocks fall apart. To implement it, I learned Blender3d and made a broken block and implemented it.
The second is the so-called Puyo Puyo Rule, which is immediately destroyed when falling blocks meet the same colors or are glass blocks. I realized this and got an evaluation that the game became more fun
Unfortunately, the cost of CPI (Cost per Install) of the game was so high that the development stopped, but it's the first game made by the company and it's almost a solo game It's a game that I love a lot.
